Salt is a unique site which enjoys both frontage to the Pacific Ocean to the east and Cudgen Creek to the west. It has an area of approximately 73.8 ha, a frontage of approximately 1100 m to the beach and is located 1 km south of Kingscliff.

Salt is a master planned development comprising approximately 500 residential lots, 664 resort rooms, 20 medium density dwellings, approximately 6000 m2 of commercial/retail, restaurant floor space together with approximately 16 ha of parklands and extensive cycleway/walkway networks, together with a boathouse and SLS Building with public amenities.

Salt is anchored by the 2 major beachfront resorts operated by Peppers Bale’ and Mantra on Salt Beach.
