DESCRIPTION AND DETAILS OF PROJECT:
DAC Planning Pty Ltd was commissioned by Heron Building Group to submit a Section 96 Modification Application to amend the original development consent.
The proponent sought to modify of the consent to provide several design improvements, including enhancements to the external appearance of the building and also to reconfigure the unit floor plans and sizes to better reflect market demand. The three buildings were reduced in height, the number of residential apartments was to be reduced to 196 units and an increase to GFAs was sough together with a reduction in car parking to incorporate the “new” controls contained within the Tweed City Centre LEP 2012 and the car parking controls in the accompanying Tweed City Centre DCP.
